Date 2 of 100- (kind of a slow start, I know)

I spent Thanksgiving Weekend (and then some) stuck in Jacksonville with my family, so I did not accept any dates! I couldn’t because so many boys are always asking me to let *them* know if I am “ever in Jacksonville” . . . like hell I’m doing that! It’ll throw off the entire balance!

“Let me know if you’re ever in Jax . . .” Also reads as, “I’m too lazy to come to you, but if you’re ever in town, take the time to remember me and then actually be the one to ask ME out.”

Tscha. I ain’t falling for that!

Date two of a hundred was supposed to be last night, but the prick stood me up at the last minute. Not even in an interesting way! Nothing funny happened and there’s no story here, he just plain canceled. Are we counting this?

I mean, I was already cute and stuff.

So can I have this freebie? Up to you. I would like feedback from my readers . . . all FOUR of you.

    Midgets or it didn’t happen.

  2. Dan says:

Yes, sounds like a freebie, you put in the effort.

  3. R says:

No, we aren’t counting this!! The date never happened. No fault of yours, I know, but still… I have no doubt you will make your goal of 100 dates. You don’t need this “freebie”.

  4. Bri says:

It was TOO a date! Like, a phone date. I dressed up!

  5. Dave says:

If the cancelation was not your fault and there is no reschedule in sight, I’d go ahead and count it. If you feel bad about it later, you can always do 101 dates. Guess that means you are looking out for #3 now.

  6. Bri says:

Yes! Now if I just keep going as though I *did* go out with Number Two, I won’t interrupt the flow of this project. I can redo it later if I want.

But I’m not even offering a reschedule to the bird brain. NOBODY cancels on ME.
