If you’re an exciting Android enthusiast you likely know that the Xposed Framework can add very useful features to your phone, through modules you can install it to change the behavior of the operating system. What makes it so awesome is it’s flexibility, you can take control of nearly anything on Android and there are a ton of 3rd party developers who make a ton of functions.

The latest Android release is bringing some very interesting changes. We’ve already seen KitKat added to the Xposed Framework, but this one makes KitKat also the most supported version. What more, the Lollipop support brings along with some other enhancements and changes to resolve crashes.

There have always been a few oddball devices that didn’t get the original version of Android, some with long carrier-supported legacy, others with low-end hardware, and some with a poor track record of support from OEMs. The Nexus 9 is one of the latest of these, and Google has officially just released an Android L Developer Preview with the tablet running Marshmallow, a version of the operating system that won’t be available in stores and won’t have any hardware partners until October.

The Nexus 5 will get Google’s newest operating system in just a little while as well, along with the Galaxy S6 and Note 5. You can check out the full release page here, and the full changelog for the update on the XDA-Developers site.

Developers have had access to some of the same tools available to users for a long time. From ROM flashing tools to custom recovery like CWM & TWRP, there was always a way to make some modifications on your phone. This is great news if you want to make your own ROM or take the next step to modify the firmware of your device.

Basically, these are just little scripts that download GApps(.apk file) for different architectures and install it directly onto the /system partition, it can be directly flashed into any Android device with root access.

The only reason we don’t show the.zip file, is because it is downloaded as such and rather than open and install it, we would choose the click “Install” button here. We prefer to add these links into this post.
