While the much-anticipated performance updates are welcome after the Lightroom updates, some of the Photoshop updates are rather minor, such as the addition of the Eraser tool. For other Photoshop users, there are many new improvements and fixes that users would love to have in their camera raw files. Does Photoshop support the latest post-processing settings now? This is mostly an update to the program, but I do find some issues with the way the Photoshop is set up. First off, there is no way to set your preferences in the Preferences window. This shows you the settings that apply to the program when it starts, but NOT how different options or plug-ins are affecting the way the app works. Secondly, there are no global styles, global plug-ins, and the like.
I do can say that Photoshop still has a good friend left in me. And yes, I do still use Photoshop. But during this latest update, I do feel that Photoshop takes a little detour from my workflow.
In this last and very important question, I was asked, “Will Adobe continue to support Lightroom and Photoshop?” My answer was, “Not in my wildest dreams.” But I was really sad to say that I will never use these two programs again. And it is all because of Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC.
I appreciate, however, that Adobe is supporting Photoshop until 2020. That’s almost 3 years but for me, that’s too long, because I believe that both developers should have at least the same pace. I just don’t think that Automator is the best tool to do such things. If you want to get quickly from one job to the next, Photoshop is the place to be.

The History panel can be extremely helpful when troubleshooting certain image problems. It keeps track of all the changes you make to your images. You can return to an earlier version of your work to make small changes, or even re-edit the entire image if something has gone wrong.

One of the most exciting new additions to Photoshop is the ability to now turn an image into a map. The Layers Map feature, which is already available in the next version of Photoshop, will take a single image, split it into layers, and add them to a blank map. This feature allows you to easily map elements like buildings and land, see where they were taken, even shares them over social media. The information gathered from the layers can populate a Google Map, and they can even be exported as KML, a useful feature if you work with teams or create a lot of maps.
